Learning etc.
Dec 13, 2010
I have been so privileged to know God's Plan for me. I may not have every detail but I know what he reveals to me. Revelation is a very exciting thing. The word Revelation means in the greek.
by BlueletterBible.com "
1) laying bare, making naked
2) a disclosure of truth, instruction
a) concerning things before unknown
b) used of events by which things or states or persons hitherto withdrawn from view are made visible to all
3) manifestation, appearance
It is the knowing part of the journey.
Well tonight I had to go to school. I also had a Christmas Party I wanted to attend. Also there was a prophetess at a local church I wanted to meet. This seems like a Big night with or without me :)
Well I'm human and I look for the right path just like everyone else. I hope. :)
I knew I could not go to the Christmas party but I'm sure they had a nice time. Sorry I missed it. :) I was hoping to get out of school so that I could go to church. And it was like three hours after service began and they were still there! Exciting!
Well I got there and the Prophetess said, " God Bless You!" well I was like okay thanks! She was very insightful I must say. I was very impressed from the moment I walked through the door. Actually I looked back to see and she is a Pastor. I do not like to splice titles. So SOrry. :) Anyhow, She has an anointing in prophesy and spoke so many bible illustrations and encouraging words. She knows God. I'm sure.
... And :) all I got was a "God Bless You." All the way home I am thinking about ministering to God. I ask God let me minister unto you. I am still but the time was not yet.
On the way home I got a very nice compliment from someone who said I had helped them. I will say no more, don't want to miss my blessing. :)
I just had this feeling of confirmation, saying " Wait upon the Lord." When I returned home it was nice. I received an early Christmas present that was greatly appreciated and needed. My husband had brought me half of a great steak. Hmmmm thanks! baby,
I usually do not eat so much steak but I ate it all except four bites the cat got.
Then I opened a letter from a friend.
The card stated. " The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. " Psalm 33:5
The inside said
" It has been a privilege to know you! "
But truthfully the privilege is ALL MINE.
What a Blessed Day! I know there are many suffering at this very minute. I know a few of you and I hope you know I pray for you. I think of you and hope to see you again soon.
Is this not what God wants for us? Some thoughts and attention and a hope to spend some time with You and Me?
When I say I know the Plan I must explain what I mean. I mean that the words for others rang true in my own life and I could see vision for the future. I don't have to ask Why am I here? What is my purpose? What Am I suppose to do?
I can trust that God because he says
Eze 20:5 KJV - And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I [am] the LORD your God;God says in the day He chose Israel. We are Israel. He makes Himself known. Meaning He chose me and makes me. He Blesses Me! He Love Me. He directs me and teaches me in Wisdom. Praise the LORD! I cannot express my every thought with you but I will leave you with some scripture. It is much late and I need some sleep. :)
God bless you until we meet again!
Rev 4:11 KJV - Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
ALL THINGS Created BY HIM for HIS PLEASURE ! If we are alive it is because it pleases the Father in some way for His pleasure.
Oh how awesomely we are Blessed by God
Eph 1:3 KJV - Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ:
Eph 1:4 KJV - According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5 KJV - Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:6 KJV - To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Eph 1:7 KJV - In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Eph 1:8 KJV - Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Eph 1:9 KJV - Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Eph 1:10 KJV - That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:
Psa 103:2 KJV - Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Psa 103:3 KJV - Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psa 103:4 KJV - Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Psa 103:5 KJV - Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Psa 103:8 KJV - The LORD [is] merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
Psa 103:21 KJV - Bless ye the LORD, all [ye] his hosts; [ye] ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
Oh how Kind and Loving Our God can be!
Deu 31:6 KJV - Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.We can ask Him
Psa 119:133 KJV - Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
How can this be? In Thy Word...
Psa 37:23 KJV - The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Prophet's Notes
Well I have decided to take my website and add a newsletter for all my friends and family I don't get to see very often. Just to let them know I think about them. I am going to share my most precious memories with them. All the treasures I have held hidden for such a time as this.
I have had the pleasure of meeting so many beautiful people whom were created by God. It is my hope they know how they have enriched my life by being the person God created them to be.
In saying this I will start with the notes I have written from July 25,2010.
Ezek 47 talks about waters which is oftentimes referred to as Life or people, nations.
Example being life comes from the altar. Perhaps the alter of the sacrifice of praise.
{Paraphrase quote} { All comes from God. Have gratitude instead of an attitude. Everything we do is a choice.
Don't Judge others.
If man doesn't praise me and people don't notice me. I WILL NONE THE LESS SERVE THE LORD!
WHO YOU ARE CONNECTED TO COULD CHANGE YOUR OUTCOME
There are three sections to the temple, The porch, the outer court and the inner court.
The inner court is where the Holy of Holies reside. The place of Sabbath or Rest.
The place of the power of God.
Well I hope that was a mouth full of Bible Nuggetts for you to meditate on until our next time. God blesses. May God bless you and all the souls you have met through you.
Take care,

Why We Go Through What We Go Through
I heard an interesting sermon from Creflo Dollar the other day. It was discussing the Book of Jonah. Wow. You hear the kids story Jonah and the Whale and it seems so fantastical. However it is very easy to read over things if you have a prenotion to the text you are reading. The phrase "from the Presence of the Lord" is written three times in Jonah. It describes Jonah's disobedience and his abandonment of God's plan.
Sometimes we can leave God's presence by not doing what he tells us or just by our own selfishness. In Jonah's case it was both. Another time this phrased is mentioned is when Adam and Eve were hiding from The Presence Of God. Once again when Cain was sent from the Garden of Eden.
It goes to show that when we disobey we are running from the presence of God.

Back to the Garden
Back to the Garden
I know I am suppose to be publishing about the Bible. I have alot of interest in food and found this excellent website which teaches Bible lessons too. Wow. The Bible has quite a bit to say about food. Not only the spiritual references such as Christ is the Bread of Life. or " Man cannot live by Bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of God." Matthew 4:4
So I too am very interested in food. I have also been wanting to get back to the Leviticus Food laws. I was very strict in following them for about six years and slipped up on some bacon and shrimp. Well, I am only human. :) So I have been very ill recently and have been wanting to get more into a green lifestyle seriously. I have had this wish now for almost 15 years. It seems time passes by you faster than you realize. Some things you really intend to do just don't seem to get done. So I have really been praying. I know my health depends alot on the chioces I make and I'm like Paul always wanting to do the right thing but for what ever reason not getting it done.
It is my prayer that by posting this information I may save a life or two. Hopefully including mine. I realize precious good health can release another level of joy in your life.
Thanks for checking it out.
I am also beginning a tomatoe challenge. I have alot of seeds and dirt. I pray for the time to put them in the soil. For that important first step is the determining factor of whether you have a harvest or not.
I pray I do. :)
It all begins with one small action. Followed by another and another. The foundation begins with one brick.
May this be a brick in your wall.

Master Hear Your Servants Prayer - Tommy Dorsey Historic life
THE BIRTH OF THE SONG 'PRECIOUS LORD'
Back in 1932, I was a fairly new husband .. My wife, Nettie and I were living in a little apartment on Chicago 's south side. One hot August afternoon I had to go to St. Louis where I was to be the featured soloist at a large revival meeting. I didn't want to go. Nettie was in the last month of pregnancy with our first child. But a lot of people were expecting me in St. Louis . I kissed Nettie good-bye, clattered downstairs to our Model A and, in a fresh Lake Michigan breeze, chugged out of Chicago on Route 66.
However, outside the city, I discovered that in my anxiety at leaving, I had forgotten my music case. I wheeled around and headed back.
I found Nettie sleeping peacefully. I hesitated by her bed; something was strongly telling me to stay. But eager to get on my way, and not wanting to disturb Nettie, I shrugged off the feeling and quietly slipped out of the room with my music..
The next night, in the steaming St. Louis heat, the crowd called on me to sing again and again. When I finally sat down, a messenger boy ran up with a Western Union telegram. I ripped open the envelope. Pasted on the yellow sheet were the words: YOUR WIFE JUST DIED.
People were happily singing and clapping around me, but I could hardly keep from crying out.. I rushed to a phone and called home. All I could hear on the other end was 'Nettie is dead.. Nettie is dead.'
When I got back, I learned that Nettie had given birth to a boy. I swung between grief and joy.. Yet that same night, the baby died.. I buried Nettie and our little boy together, in the same casket. Then I fell apart.
For days I closeted myself I felt that God had done me an injustice. I didn't want to serve Him anymore or write gospel songs. I just wanted to go back to that jazz world I once knew so well. But then, as I hunched alone in that dark apartment those first sad days, I thought back to the afternoon I went to St... Louis. Something kept telling me to stay with Nettie. Was that something God? Oh, if I had paid more attention to Him that day, I would have stayed and been with Nettie when she died.
From that moment on I vowed to listen more closely to Him.. But still I was lost in grief. Everyone was kind to me, especially one friend. The following Saturday evening he took me up to Maloney's Poro College , a neighborhood music school. It was quiet; the late evening sun crept through the curtained windows.
I sat down at the piano, and my hands began to browse over the keys. Something happened to me then. I felt at peace. I felt as though I could reach out and touch God. I found myself playing a melody, once into my head they just seemed to fall into place: 'Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on, let me stand, I am tired, I am weak, I am worn, through the storm, through the night, lead me on to the light, take my hand, precious Lord, lead me home.'
The Lord gave me these words and melody, He also healed my spirit.. I learned that when we are in our deepest grief, when we feel farthest from God, this is when He is closest, and when we are most open to His restoring power...
And so I go on living for God willingly and joyfully, until that day comes when He will take me and gently lead me home.
-Tommy Dorsey-
He also wrote Master Hear your Servants' Prayer Amen.
For those too young to know who he is, Tommy Dorsey was a band leader in the Thirties and Forties.
Did you know that Tommy Dorsey wrote this song? I surely didn't. What a wonderful story of how God CAN heal the brokenhearted! Beautiful, isn't it?
Worth the reading, wasn't it? Think on the message for a while. Thought you might like to share this, I just did.

BISCUITS
BURNT BISCUITS.... .........
When I was a kid, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every
now
and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made
breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago,
my
mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in
front
of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad
did
was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at
school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember
watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!
When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom
apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget
what he
said: "Honey, I love burned biscuits."
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he
really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said,
"Your
Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And
besides - a
little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"
You know, life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm
not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and
anniversaries
just like everyone else.
What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each others
faults - and choosing to celebrate each others differences - is one of
the
most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting
relationship.
And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the
good,
the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of
God.
Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a
relationship where a burnt biscuit isn't a deal-breaker!
We could extend this to any relationship. In fact, understanding is the
base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or
friendship!
"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - keep it
in
your own."
God Bless You..... Now, and Always....
this was sent to me in email I do not know the origin but it is truly a good lesson, So I wanted to share it.

Funeral Fashion Show
"See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil" Deut 30:15 Death is associated with evil in the Bible. It is stated that life is good. Is the mortal death an evil thing? Not if we are assured of life eternal through the blood of Jesus.
I recently had several deaths in my family. Each one had a very different lifestyle and somewhat interesting funeral service. For believers, we trust life is eternal starting at the point of acceptance of God. What I found so strange about going to these funerals this weekend was how my grandmother wanted to look so good for them. She was willing to make an late arrival due to the fact her skirt was wrong. Now please don't get me wrong. My grandmother was very upset about her family passing on. We have all been very saddened by the lose of our loved ones. Life here will not be the same without them. It seems like we have hit another milestone closer to our own death.
My uncle or my grandmother's brother, lost his daughter in law one night and his son in law the next night. He then had a stroke and landed in the hospital not able to attend any of the funerals. On top of these tragedies he was told he could not return back to his home. He would need to be placed in a nursing home. He told me that he planned on inviting the family over to his home and letting them get what they wanted.
How this mentality bothered me! Here he is looking at the end of life and giving away what few possessions he had worked his whole life to attain. My husbands grandmother was not concerned with earthly treasures at her last days either. Proverbs 15:16 states "Better [is] little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith. "
We all work so hard to find riches and attain some status only to find what King Solomon found. All is vanity. The only lasting thing is love.
Isaiah 33:6 sums up the question What is your treasure by saying "And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, [and] strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD [is] his treasure."

Michael Jackson Never Celebrated His Birthday
Today I am a bit sad. Today is my son's 17th birthday. I'm sorta sad because we did not have a huge celebration to commemorate his birth. It also reminded me that Michael Jackson supposedly never celebrated his birthday. Michael Jackson was brought up Jehovah's Witness. I do remember one photo of either his birthday or his mother's birthday in the paparazzi.
I have done some studying with the Jehovah's Witnesses in my home. I agree with some of their doctrine. Some of it I do not believe in. I will have to say I learned a few things from them. In my opinion they have very similar beliefs to the Seventh Day Adventist. Not every precept is the same but quite a few in my opinion.
I think it cannot be wrong to celebrate the years my Lord has given us with our son. Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate anything but the Lord's Supper at passover, around Easter. They do not celebrate the hedonism that was celebrated by the Greeks before the more traditional form of celebrating Easter was ordained by the church. I have also had some problems with Easter since I have learned the meaning of the rolling of the eggs and such other common practices. It does in a way take away from the meaning of Passover. The most sacred believe we Christians are commanded to celebrate to commemorate the Lord bringing us out of Egypt into the Promise Land.
Returning to my original subject of Birthdays. I remember the time when my son was six months old and I was not able to take care of him. I had what I thought was a terrible migraine. This was no ordinary migraine. I had been bedridden for almost three weeks. I had to quit driving because I was seeing things. I was in so much pain. I hope to never forget this time in my life. For though this time I realized that God was with me always. When I was 12 years old I prayed to God to give me a son and a husband to name him after. It was given as asked. I know without a doubt my husband and son are a gift from God. I pray I will be able to offer my best to show appreciation to God's precious gifts to me. My answered prayers. When I was so sick and missing my son alone in the bed. I would often pray to God. I was blessed to go to some doctors which gave me some pain medicine for some relief at times. However most of the doctors told me I was not feeling what I said I was feeling and they also told me I was stressed. This is mostly due to the fact they had no idea what was going on in my body. Neither did I.
So I suffered and prayed and sought relief. It had gotten so bad to the point I could not stand to watch or be in a room with the tv on. I could not stand to be in candlelight. It just hurt so very badly. One day, I called my grandma and told her " I think I am dying." I had no idea at the time that I was actually dying. I got up three times that day and opened the phone book to find my choir director's number. Each time I tried to look into the phone book I could not see anything. I was desperately searching for prayer to save my life. That same night my husband had returned home from work and some of his friends had come over. I remained in the bed. I finally called him in the room and told him to tell everyone to leave because I was dying. A few minutes later after everyone had left the doorbell rung. I looked at Ed and said " I don't care who it is I don't want to see anyone. " From my bedroom I heard my choir director's voice and the pastor from my church. They had never been to my home before and I know God sent them there that night. I got up out of the bed and laid down on the couch before them and asked for some prayer. The next day the doctor's tested for the problem that I had. The test was negative. I had told them to take an MRI of my back also since they had said I had bulging disks in my back. I told them " I cannot live this way." So the MRI of my head was clean, and the one of my back showed I had bulging disks. About two weeks later I went to a doctor at UVA hospital. They did several hours of testing on me and found I had fluid on my brain. The test that should have shown this did not. However after having a few spinal taps and being on a direitic for almost a year I was healed. I praise God for giving me more life to spend with my son and husband.
I remember praying in the bed to allow me the chance to see my son graduate from high schoool. I also remember asking him to allow me to teach him and watch him grow up.
For this blessing I Praise God! This is the reason I have to believe it is not a sin to celebrate birthdays. In my eyes it is a celebration of God's good gift of life on this earth with the ones we love. My son is today July 18th 2009, seventeen. I know too many children that never made it to see their seventeenth birthday. My heart goes out to those. I also know some that did not get to see their mom on their 17th birthday. I also cry with them. Even if I don't get to throw a big bash for my son I want him to know how much I have been blessed by his presence. I want to thank God on this day for allowing me to be a part of his life.

Giving Thanks and Overcoming Covetousness
Consumerism has taken over our planet. Everywhere you go you see advertisements urging your sense to buy and use. People all over are selling their wares to get more money and buy more stuff. Where does it end?
This winter times were tight for our family. We ate pinto beans at least four times a week. Instead of being grateful for those beans, I started to get complacent and want more. This began a few months long bout with covetousness. I spent too many days crying over what I didn't have and focusing on what my neighbors didn't have until I got into a full blown depression. Worry consumed my soul and trusting in God went out the window. I spent these times spending many hours a day in the Word of God trying to figure out how I got into this mess and how I could get out.
So many people this year along lost their homes and went without food and shelter. This really wore heavy upon me. I had even heard of people getting grudges against God because they were not living to the standard they were accustom. This is very sad and very hard to fight.
Globally news stations were foretelling broken economies and doom. Every station in every country was broadcasting these negative scenarios. Ignorant of the power of intention in our words we began to live out the drama that was written for us.
It was a tough year. Our family began cutting wood to heat our home because we could not afford other means. I stayed at home more often because gas was outrageous. We were not the only family to make these changes. I saw many families cutting and buying wood. The local trading paper was full of wood heaters and wood for sale.
There is really no need in me painting a picture that almost everyone has seen. Life has gotten more difficult for many people especially, since unemployment has been on the rise. The government plans to raise the minimum wage which could ultimately raise the unemployment rate some more. Where does it all end? It doesn't we just have to persist until the end. Keep going, keep waking up, keep trying, keep getting back up.
Diligence has to replace impatience. Patience has to replace frustration. Thankfulness must replace our needs list. Maintenance must replace disposal lifestyles.
Our forefathers came to this country to build communities of liberty. America has been very obsessive - compulsive. You need only look to the stock market to prove that very point. Only 60 years ago, people here in America didn't enjoy running water and a shower, or flushing toilet, or sauna bathtub. We could not drive hours on end in fast cars, the main form of transportation was horse and buggy. We did not have 400 channels on televisions to keep our minds occupied constantly. There was not internet or indoor lighting. Many people in the world still live this lifestyle. Sadly enough the riches has not made us a happier society, only a society of greed, bitter and covetousness.
Our time is now to build character for the generations to come. One technique I have been using lately to overcome my wants is to recognize when I say. "Wow" I would like to have one of those. When I catch myself wanting a new car or pair of shoes. I now stop and thank God for providing the for the owner with their gift. I ask God to bless their life and when I am finished praying that pray my want seems to disappear.
Another thing I have started doing is thanking God for giving me the things I have. I also thank Him for allowing me to withstand in tough times and realize that God is the only one who can give an increase. I trust I will be worthy and prepared for mine when I receive it.
I pray these words have encouraged you and broadened your perspective of the value of things we have to enjoy in this life. It has also been my observation that people are more important than things and we need to invest in God's people instead of looking for luxurious things that will wither and decay.

Learning How To Deal With Conflict
Well tonight I had a chance to teach my son how to successfully deal with conflict.
Most of the time I'm fearless for I know what is told in Luk 12:4 "And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. "
Also written is Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
However to teach my child to fight is also not a good thing with the laws against such. He has been receiving threats from his girlfriends' ex. My first advice was to ignore it. I pleaded with this boy on the phone to stop calling and my son to stop speaking to him or answering the phone.
After he threatened to come over and shoot us my defenses rose. We pulled out our weapons and waited. Thank God for no one to show. My thoughts were escalating on what would and could happen if we had this visitor. I called the local Magistrate and discussed our options with him. I did not want to harm anyone but I definitely didn't want anyone to harm us. So we waited and waited. We talked about how peace could be made and how violated our peace was by his annoying mouth.
Once my husband got home he called back the parents of this boy and tried to explain this had been happening for long enough. I however wanted to go put charges on them to make sure we had no further contact with this boy. I had five days earlier requested to him to leave us alone. I know this was the time because it was the night before my mom had lung surgery. She has been in the hospital for the last five days and certainly my nerves are on edge.
Just getting our gun out made me quite nervous but it is also a chance to teach my son about self defense if there is no other way. However if the boy had showed up our plan was to yell outside and tell him to leave the property. While at the same time calling 911. I hope to show him this is the best plan to stay out of jail ourselves. Once you are face to face with an assailant you have raw energy which can lead to any type of reactive violence. Weapons are not a good thing to have in this situation unless you are defending yourself without any options.
Some say there is always another option. I'm not so sure. I did however come across an article that raised much attention. I will share it with you. at http://meadowsislands.amplify.com/2009/07/01/should-christians-defend-themselves/
This is a very touchy subject with me. I enjoy having the freedom to protect myself but at the same time I know guns kill. Especially in the hands of the inexperienced and sometimes by professional riflemen. Many people enjoy the freedom of our youth defending our country. I'm thankful we have the same rights to defend our families and homes.
The last thing I will say about this is my husband spoke to this boys mother and he was already in some trouble. I had spoke to him last week telling him not to mess with my son because he is a child of God. This boy also is God's child and sadly running from peacefulness. After about three hours to calm down it occurred to me this child is sad, lonely and scared. I hate the way we may have demonstrated ourselves to him however, God expects us to protect ourselves. Interesting point the word protect is not in the Bible.
I may be totally wrong about this all? As I read Psa 20:1 [[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.]] The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; It is suppose to be a time we trust in God to defend us. I guess I need to learn more too about trusting in God. I ask forgiveness for any part I have done wrong.
The other scripture I found was Gen 14:14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained [servants], born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued [them] unto Dan. Which supports protecting your family with arms.
2Ki 10:3 Look even out the best and meetest of your master's sons, and set [him] on his father's throne, and fight for your master's house.
Neh 7:3 And I said unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar [them]: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one [to be] over against his house.
Eze 33:11 Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
Luk 12:39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
1Ti 3:5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
1Cr 6:1 ¶ Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
1Th 4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
Thank you for your word Lord and for an obedient son who looks to us to guide him.
May this post bless all who read it and spread upon the world Hope and patience to endure their trials to obtain the blessings of God.

Searching The Word
I am writing this article to display the great advantage to using a Bible Search program. An excellent online Bible Search Program is http://www.blueletterbible.org/ . I have been using this online resource for many years to accompany my Bible study and answer my Bible questions. Http://www.blueletterbible.org
Is a wonderful website designed to use online without having to download and store a large program on your computer. It is also accessible anywhere there is an internet connection. This website has been very valuable to me in the last few years.
Http://www.blueletterbible.org is similar to a Strong’s Concordance because it is a vast researching tool which allows you to look up any word in the Bible. You can also access any verse in the Bible by typing in the Chapter and verse in the search window. In fact while researching and exploring this website for this article I just found the resource provided called “put off /put on” available under the study tools of the menu bar on this site. The direct address is http://www.blueletterbible.org/study/misc/putoffon.cfm
This page provides a list of undesirable traits that we are urged to weed out of our lives giving the scripture reference to each trait. Beside each soul trait is the scripture to overcome with the answer Christ God has provided in His Word.
There are a growing number of people who do not prefer the King James Version of the Bible. Http://www.blueletterbible.org provides many different translations to the King James Version of the Bible. I am partial to the King James Version mostly for one reason; you can take every word back to the original language in which it was derived. The Old Testament scriptures go back to the Hebrew language and define the word in question while the New Testament scriptures go back to the Greek language and are defined.
When using the King James Version of the Bible you are allowed to access many aides to studying that verse. They provide list of options to the left of the verse as follows
- “K” provides the user with all the cross references to that verse in the Bible.
- “C” provides the user with the Concordance of each word in the Hebrew or Greek.
- “L” provides the user with a list of commentaries on the verse chosen
- “I” provides the user with a list of maps and images to view
- “V” provides the user with all versions available for the verse chosen
- “D” provides the user with dictionaries to help understanding
Blue Letter Bible provides free CDs for those without internet access and 10 free CDs for churches. This ministry also provides a daily Bible scripture, a daily Bible promise or daily reflection on grace. They also provide free tools for Java users to add to their website.
In my opinion this is a great work which has been issued online for our benefit. They are diligently spreading the news of the Gospel and helping people to lean on God’s precious Word. I hope you enjoy this resource.
Sent All Through Out the World
Wow, I just realized this blog is formatted for many languages. Talk about the convenience of spreading the Word of God. It is amazing the times we live in and the opportunities we have to distribute the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible states in John 14:12 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
This is so true! Jesus walked for miles to spread the news of God's love for his creation. All we have to do is type and look at the results of the efforts if we just put in a small investment of time.
God bless this blog to the benefit of the readers that through the publishing you will be Glorified.

His Eye Is On The Sparrow
"Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns;
yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? "
Here is a poem I wrote after seeing a bird in his freedom.

I saw a blue birdie
with a yellow tom
sit straddled on two braches
high up in the palm
It stood so high
without a plight
nearer to the vibrant light
Not worried about taking flight
It was a joyous sight to see
how that birdie stood there
and watched me
way up high upont that tree.
Seeing this bird stand on the smallest twig of a branch without fear gave me hope.
Sometimes in life we have but a small twig left to stand on and we tremble and look down wondering if we will fall. That bird stood strong on the branch.
In Matthew 10:29 God reassures us he is watching and holding us
"Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground
without your Father. "
